The light house, with swirling sea gulls, in on a rocky point near the ocean. It is scroll sawn out of cherry wood and mounted on a solid walnut backer. It has a saw tooth hanger for easy mounting on a wall. This majestic structure stands as a monument to warn sailors away from rocky shoals and provide points to navigate by. You can almost smell the ocean air blowing in from the water.
This piece measures 7 1/2" wide and is 8" high. The cherry wood and walnut are each about 1/4" thick. It is finished with a Danish oil wood finish.
